ดูดไขมัน Liposuction is certainly possible in the areas you describe

I have had large legs since I was a kid. over the years struggled with weight but maintained it by working hard with healthy diet and vigorous exercise programs. Wore heels or boots to disguise. Legs became larger 4 years ago but ballooned after I had a baby last year . I lost 40 of the 52lbs I gained and I am currently 5'3 stuck at 155lbs. My upper body is relatively in shape wear a size small shirt 27.5 inch waist and size 6 pants. but My legs look obese. haven't worn a skirt in years.

Liposuction ดูดไขมัน is certainly possible in the areas you describe. Many surgeons are reluctant to perform liposuction in these areas, the main concerns typically being technical difficulty and postoperative swelling or pain. My practice is almost exclusively devoted to body contouring using liposuction and fat transfer. I have had excellent results and very high patient satisfaction when performing liposuction on the calves and ankles. Liposuction typically works well on the inner knee, but the area above the knee does not typically respond well. Of course, making an accurate assessment has much to do with the outcome and patient satisfaction with this procedure. In combination with technical expertise, this typically leads to good results. You may need to accept a longer swelling period in these areas than when liposuction is done in other areas, though patients typically do fine after the first four to six weeks. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon and confirm that they have experience performing liposuction on this part of the body. The reason this area is technically challenging is because of the sharp turns and the difficulty in accessing all areas to obtain even contours. Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.

Liposuction ดูดไขมัน can do 1 thing and one thing only. It can remove a certain amount of fat that exists in certain areas of the body. It can not change the genetic result of any given anatomic area. Extremities such as yours may not respond as completely to liposuction as you may desire. So- yes, you can achieve some degree of improvement with liposuction of your legs. I would caution you to not expect as thin and shapely a leg as yu may desire .

Thank you for the question and pictures.Certainly liposuction can be done on the lower legs. The secret for success in this case and in any other case is a good physical exam to determine if you are a candidate for the suggested liposuction operation. The other secret of success is discussing the expectation of the operation. Often times seeing before and after pictures can help. Make sure you see a Board Certifyed Plastic Surgeon to help you in this process.Best RegardsNagi T Ayoub MD, FACS

I would like to advise you to be cautious in your pursuit of liposuction of these areas. You describe having this problem most of your life and it became worse around childbirth. The anatomy of each persons lower legs varies and can be related to where the calf muscles insert onto the ankle. This anatomy cannot be changed with liposuction alone. There can also be issues related to venous insufficiency and poor circulation especially in regards to lymphatics. This is usually below the knee and the knees themselves usually respond rather well to liposuction. I would encourage you to be very clear in your history to your plastic surgeon and expect possibly being referred for a more complete workup to ensure that there are not underlying problems that could effect an overall positive result. Best of good luck.

Thank you for asking about your lower leg liposuction ดูดไขมัน . I am sorry you have had this struggle - It is excellent that you have lost so much baby weight -Is it possible for you to now lose more to get to a normal weight? At 5'3, your target for good health should be 120 or less.I know this sounds like a lot but it will give you a better, healthier life.At that point, you will still have slightly heavy legs - but a conservative liposuction of your knees and calves is likely to give you a prettier shape with less risk of loose skin. Ankle liposuction is unpredictable - the fat lies around nerves and arteries and little can be safely removed. If you have ankle swelling or other problems after your baby - your surgeon is likely to suggest a vein study before liposuction. Always see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Hope you found this answer helpful. Best wishes

Absolutely. However, understand that these areas are more prone to contour irregularities and prolonged swelling. I usually have my patients use a special pneumatic compression stocking device at home for several weeks after this particular operation to squeeze out swelling.

You need a true specialist in liposuction who does it under local and with the microcanulas to get a good result on your knees, calves and ankles. One who will stand you up several times to assess the results to fine tune it during the procedure.
